Clermont County Commissioners Journal Entry

This journal entry contains the minutes of a special session of the Clermont County commissioners. During the session, plans and specifications for the infirmary building were presented and adopted. This copy of the entry was placed in the time capsule of the new infirmary's cornerstone in 1885. It is two pages long and measures 7.64 x 13.66 inches (19.4 x 34.69 cm).

The county infirmary was completed in 1885. It was four stories high with one hundred rooms and a central courtyard. The Clermont County Infirmary operated until 1965. It was later used for county offices and was razed in 2002.
