Beautiful Ohio Sheet Music

This first edition sheet music of "Beautiful Ohio" was published in 1918. Mary Earl wrote the music and Ballard MacDonald wrote the lyrics. "Beautiful Ohio" was adopted as the official state song of Ohio in 1969. In 1989, the Ohio legislature adopted new lyrics for the song, written by Youngstown attorney Wilbert McBride. The sheet music is six pages and measures 10.5" x 13.5" (26.67 cm x 34.29 cm). Page six is an advertisement for other sheet music by Mary Earl, including the hits, "Sweet Siamese" and "Enid Waltz."
